X-ray equipment routine performance test
One of the 4 radiation checks in Compliance UK's dental pack, with the fields to record, who usually does it and where it sits in the CQC framework.
What this check is
By default, Compliance UK schedules it every 3 years. You can change the schedule. The radiation protection supervisor usually does it.
The record is a document or certificate, added as a file or a photo.
Each x-ray unit in your equipment register gets its own copy of this check and a QR label that opens its log on a phone.
It only applies to practices that answer yes to “Do you take intraoral X-rays?” when they set up Compliance UK.
