CQC inspections for dental providers

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulates dental practices in England. This hub sets out the framework it assesses against and the 48 checks a practice can keep to show it's meeting it.

What the CQC assesses

The CQC assesses providers with its Single Assessment Framework. It asks 5 key questions and sets out 34 quality statements under them. Providers must also meet the fundamental standards in the regulations.

The CQC inspects dental practices but does not usually give them a rating.
